A better quality BBQ is made with better, longer lasting components. A less expensive BBQ will not broil your food as well as a good quality one, will require parts earlier and more often, and will require entire replacement years earlier. Be wary of BBQs with the regulator hose pressed onto the manifold of your BBQ. A simple replacement of a regulator or hose will be very expensive because the whole valve system will have to be replaced.
 
Research your barbecues. A good quality BBQ will last you a minimum of 10 years, a high quality Barbecue will last even longer. Your money is spent more wisely if you put the extra money in when you buy the BBQ which you would be spending with in a couple of years for replacement parts on a cheaper BBQ.
 
Look after your barbecue. Check the connection to the back of the valves to your hose and regulator. If it gets lose, gas may ignite and burn your hose and the front of your BBQ. In the spring take your burner out and blow it out with air. Spiders like to build nests in the venture tubes and cause improper burning of your burner. never use anything but a brass BBQ brush for cleaning your cooking grill. Do not scrape it with anything sharp because where you scrape off the porcelain coating it will rust. If your knobs get hard to turn, do not force them The valves require valve grease to operate. This is a special valve grease, do not use anything else. You may bring your valves to us and we will regrease them for you. Replacement of valves is very costly and sometimes hard to get. A good cover will also extend the life of your barbecue.
